Jewellery Trends 2018

ENGRAVABLES:

This is a word that you are probably hearing a lot lately and it is simply jewellery that can be engraved. A trend that was huge in the 80s is back on the jewellery scene. Most brands and generic collections of jewellery have an engravables collection. You can choose to put a name , initials or a short message on it and give it to a loved one, giving a truly personalised piece.

CIRCLES:

This trend started last year but its not going anywhere whether it is a single or an entertwined circle both are a very popular jewellery choice for 2018. All our members carry this style and you can get it in the different metals such as gold or silver  and the different metal colours such as white yellow and rose gold.

LAYERING

Another trend that has been around for a number of years but has no intention of going anywhere is layering , whether its layered necklaces , bracelets or rings all three trends are very popular. When worn correctly they can look very well. Ask your member from the association of fine jewellers for advice on this trend as no one wants to look like they are wearing their whole jewellery collection.

LEAVES

Another trend in jewellery is that of leaves , a symbol of autumn and also thought to represent the variety of aspects in one’s life. Leaves make a stunning neck piece and they can be worn horizontally or vertically . Whichever style you choose we do know that either will look very well in a layered look.

There are a number of jewellery trends for 2018 and we will highlight some more in our next blog but if in the meantime you would like to call into your local member from the association of fine jewellers they will be delighted to show you the many new styles and trends that have arrived into their shop for the upcoming season.
