Top Jewellery Trends 2019:

Earrings:

This year earrings are back in the forefront with all types of earrings being a popular choice. So whether you like hoop earrings, statement earrings, drop earrings,  stud earrings or pearl earrings there is something for you this year.  We have also seen a huge trend towards wearing more than one earring at a time. This is like the layering trend that is still so popular in bracelets necklaces and rings.

Personalised Pieces:

As per our last blog, personalised pieces are a huge trend this year. Gifting an individual piece of jewellery is a lovely way to show how much this person means to you. Choose from an engraved piece a named or initial piece or a locket for the one you love this year.

Layered Pieces:

Layering is not going anywhere soon and layered chains, bracelets and rings are huge again this year. So maybe your loved one has two nice bangles or two nice chains how about adding to their collection. The important thing is to ensure that if its a bracelet they are all similar in size if its a necklace ensure they are different lengths and if its rings opt for skinny rings.

Pearls:

Pearls are always a popular jewellery choice and no longer is it just a plain string of pearls that is available in this beautiful gemstone. Pearl earrings, bracelets and pendants are a very popular choice not only for brides but also as a beautiful jewellery gift to a loved one. 2019 sees an array of pearl jewellery available from all our members. Our one piece of advice is that if cared for properly they can be a piece that is passed down through the generations.

Colour:

Be it coloured gold or coloured gemstones colour is back in vogue. So choose from a beautiful coloured gemstone or a piece of jewellery in rose, yellow or white gold to add to your loved one’s collection this year. Rose gold is very strong in collections again this year. But we do love to see yellow gold back in our showcases and white is definitely here to stay.
